The King of Boyville
“Boys who are born
in a small town are
born free and equal”
—William Allen White
The King of Boyville
At least that’s what—
William Allen White said
But in the jaundiced eye—
Of Miss Barrie it was different
Boys in small towns and—
Young hoodlum in big cities
They were all different and—
Each required el mucho homage
There were plenty of them—
Hanging around New York City
Wise to ways of Miss Barrie—
It was just a matter of money
But in little naïve Emporia—
Surely things were different
But you’d be quite surprised—
What country bumpkins know

The Queen of Boyville
“good little boys who
distain bad little boys”
—William Allen White
The King of Boyville
Boyz in Boyville weren’t naïve—
Either now or way back then
There were always plenty of—
Good little boys in Emporia
Who distained bad little boys—
Especially the vain sullen ones
Peter Pan Park was infamous—
As the town’s cruisy hotspot
It wasn’t just Mary White who—
Had the hots for Peter Pan
During the hot Kansas summers—
When the temperature was 100
That’s when all of Emporia’s gay—
Youth gathered at the City Pool
My oh my, how they frolicked—
And the Park was so tres gay

Piggy Pennington
“In the social order
of boys who live in
the country towns
a boy is measured
by what he can do”
—William Allen White
The King of Boyville
Piggy Pennington was most—
Certainly the King of Boyville
But because of what he did—
And did so well for bad boys
He was known quite disparagingly—
As the Queen of Boyville instead
His father was the town banker—
And he owned half of Emporia
And because of that he was—
Treated as God’s Little Darling
Most of the citizens of Shitville—
Were indebted to Piggy’s father
And what Piggy Pennington wanted—
Was usually what Miss Piggy got
Except for the rude town ruffians—
Who had Piggy’s number for sure

One Foot Gracefully
“Piggy could walk
on his hands, curling
one foot gracefully
over his back”
—William Allen White
The King of Boyville
But that’s not all that Piggy—
The Queen of Boyville could do
He could hang his lips on the—
High bar of the flying trapeze
Chinning himself on a boy’s pole—
Doing twirls and somersaults so
Gracefully backwards and forwards—
That they couldn’t help but go Oh!!!
He had access to his father’s study—
And knew where the whiskey was
The hard, more difficult cases—
Piggy plied with drinks and cigars
The sons of many widowed mothers—
Were taken in and treated like royalty
He greased their palms with silver—
Especially the uncut haughty hung ones

Daisy Darling Dumpling
“She’s a daisy, she’s a darling,
she’s s dumpling, she’s a lamb”
—William Allen White
The King of Boyville
Some thought Piggy was secretly a girl—
Born with her pussy residing in her mouth
Others didn’t care one way or another—
As long as Piggy paid them for putting out
Miss Piggy’s payback came rudely one day—
When she picked the rude butcher’s son
The butcher’s son was extremely butch—
The bulge in his pants excessively big
He had simply marvelous muscles—
From cleaving T-Bone steaks all day
Chopping loin-chops in the backroom—
Hacking away at lambs and swine
Piggy Pennington knew he was the one—
But she got more than she expected
Poor Piggy couldn’t walk for a whole week—
Never had she been taken on such a ride

Dismal Ballads
“dismal ballads about
The Gipsy’s Warning”
—William Allen White
The King of Boyville
Rough trade became Piggy’s pastime—
After that first encounter with Butchy
Butchy Bluebeard was such a Bad Boy—
He knew how to butcher Piggy’s heart
He stood up Piggy each day after school—
He told Piggy to get lost at the Meat Shop
He made Piggy follow him like a dog—
He ignored Piggy like she was just a slut
And that, of course, was absolutely true—
She didn’t have time for freckle-faced boys
Piggy was into serious sadomasochism—
All she wanted was Butchy’s jizzy jism
Piggy started hanging around in the alley—
Behind the Butcher’s Shop to get some
But all she’d end up with was just a smirk—
Bad Butchy Bluebird played hard to get
