SNOWY RAILROAD TRACKS
So I came back home—
I bought a dumpy little
Shack down by the tracks
The slow Santa Fe—
Burlington loaded freight trains
Rumbling by nextdoor
They made me feel alive—
Honking & whistling away
Heading East & West
Not exactly like—
“North By Northwest” Super Chief
But still close enough
