In the hospital there

Roberta’s grandfather—

Delivered yours truly

Into this wicked world

Now I live there—

Across the street at

Kenyon Heights not

Far from Maplewood

I live in a nice cheap—

Single bedroom apartment

My lovely next door neighbor

Miss Anita B. Rice

She looks at me—

When we meet in the

Hallway, remarking:

“I’m simply APPALLED!”
